General Summary

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and validate embedded and cloud-edge software and specialized utility programs that power world-class products. Collaborating closely with systems, hardware, architecture, and test teams, you will help deliver robust system-level software solutions that meet rigorous performance requirements.

This role focuses on Bluetooth firmware development for Qualcomm Bluetooth devices across mobile, wearable, IoE (Internet of Everything), and automotive markets. You will be actively involved in developing new firmware aligned with the latest Bluetooth specifications and future products, as well as supporting existing firmware through feature enhancements and maintenance.


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
  • 1 to 9 years of professional experience programming in C, C++, Java, Python, or related languages
  • Proficiency in C programming for embedded platforms (preferred 3 to 9 years)
  • Experience designing and developing software on Qualcomm internal chipsets
  • Strong experience working with real-time operating systems (3+ years)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Good understanding of networking protocol stacks (highly desired)
  • Familiarity with mobile development (a plus)
  • Knowledge of the Bluetooth protocol stack (additional advantage)


Responsibilities

  • Develop new Bluetooth firmware aligned with latest specifications for Qualcomm products
  • Support and enhance existing firmware features and functionality
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including systems, test, and hardware engineers
  • Participate in software design, requirement documentation, and issue resolution
  • Deliver quality software following established software development processes
