Engineer / Senior Engineer

General Summary Of Position

This position is responsible for Inspection of Fabricated & machined components at supplier premises.

Preparation and maintenance of Control formats pertaining to supply components.

Usage of instruments as per control plans.

Supplier quality control and Clearing supply components for further process.

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities:

• Welding inspection
• Arranging NDT check for castings and other components.
• Liaison with Third party agencies in arranging TPI inhouse and at supplier premises.
• Calibration.
• Preparation of control charts.
• Raising NCs and conducting root cause analysis.
• Implementation of mitigation actions.
• Supplier process audit.
• Continuous improvement – supplier quality.
• Supplier data analysis.
  
  

Key Position Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical

Job Experience:

• 5 to 10 years in fabrication shop.
• Experience in welder's qualification as per ASME/ISO standards.
• Internal auditor ISO9001
• Good communication skill.
• Data analysis and presentations.
• 2 years in a machine shop
  
  

Desirable Job Competencies:

• Good in communicative English.
• Ability to prepare and present power point presentations.
• Level II certificates in NDT such as UT, MPT and PT
• Self-starter & strongly self-disciplined
