About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Service Engineer to join our team, specializing in the railway industry. Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the railway sector to expand market presence.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Promote company products and services, including railway components, automation solutions, and maintenance services.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and sales contracts to potential clients.

Technical Support & Customer Service

  • Provide pre- and post-sales technical assistance, including product demonstrations, troubleshooting, and on-site support.
  • Resolve customer technical issues efficiently, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
  • Conduct product training sessions for clients and channel partners.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend tailored solutions to enhance business value.
  • Ensure timely follow-ups and long-term engagement with existing and potential customers.

Market Development

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with existing channel partners while identifying and onboarding new partners in strategic regions.
  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop brochures, application notes, and promotional materials.

Reporting & Business Accountability

  • Track and report on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure profitability by managing P&L for the assigned region.
  • Provide regular updates to management on business growth, challenges, and strategic initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering degree (Electronics, Electrical, Automation, or related field).
  • 3-4 years of experience in technical sales, service, or business development within the railway, industrial automation, or electrical industry.
  • Prior experience in handling key accounts and service contracts is preferred.

Technical & Sales Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of railway systems, automation technologies, and electrical components.
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and provide application-based solutions.
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and growing business in a competitive market.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and deal-closing skills.

Soft Skills:

  • Exceptional communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
