Engineer - Quality

Responsibilities

The APAC Quality Engineer will be responsible to:

• Create and process Dock Audits
• Create and process PPAP documents
• Track and manage local supplier cycle times when requested
• Provide video reviews of new local suppliers when required
• Inspect PPAP samples at local suppliers
• Inspect Production parts per AQL at local suppliers
• Review documents and revert back to supplier when corrections needed
• 8D capability and application if needed
• Provide technical support as needed to supplier
• Work with supplier to build Gantt charts and robust Control Plans as required
• Join Teams meetings as required – Huddles
• Report dock audit activities to engineering team
• Perform supplier and process audits as required in local area
• Schedule inspections in areas outside of local area
• Perform document control tasks, such as print control
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Instrumentation Engineer degree
• 2-5 years experience/training with metrology equipment such as CMM, height gauge, profilometer, mics, etc.
• Mini-tab experience preferred
• Quality Inspection experience required
• Up to 50% travel may be required to visit supplier locations for on-site inspections, ensuring parts meet quality standards and specifications.
