Key Responsibilities
- Create and develop 3D models and 2D drawings using Siemens NX and AutoCAD
- Design and develop tooling systems, including forging dies and moulds
- Conduct detailed tool design analysis and ensure manufacturability
- Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, BOMs, and documentation
- Collaborate with production teams to support die trials and troubleshooting
- Implement improvements in tool life, productivity, and cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements
Technical Skills Required
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Siemens NX (essential)
- AutoCAD
- Expertise in:
- 3D modeling
- 2D drafting
- Tool design and mould design
- Knowledge of:
- Forging die design (preferred)
- Forging processes and operations
Preferred Skills
- Experience in hot / cold forging die design
- Understanding of material behavior in forging
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes and tooling concepts
- Exposure to simulation tools (optional advantage)
