Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Engineer in Plant Maintenance, based in Bengaluru. The role involves overseeing equipment maintenance, implementing preventive maintenance schedules, and ensuring the seamless operation of plant machinery. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and technical issues while ensuring compliance with safety and operational guidelines. The Engineer will collaborate closely with other departments to maintain optimal plant operations and minimize downtime.

Qualifications include:
- BE in Mechanical, Industrial, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience of 3 to 8 years
- Salary range of 5 to 10 LPA
- Location: KIADB Aerospace Park, Hunachur, Devanahalli, Bangalore
Key responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, and advanced troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems on power presses (16200 Ton) and associated equipment.
- Interpret and analyze electrical schematics, PLC ladder diagrams, SCADA, and other automation systems to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure reliable functionality and uptime of press machines, feeders, coilers, decoilers, and other related machinery.
- Maintain strict compliance with safety standards; identify and mitigate hazards proactively.
- Accurately record maintenance activities, maintain equipment history, and generate periodic performance reports.
- Collaborate closely with production and engineering teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment efficiency.
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure critical components are readily available for timely repairs.
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, specifically in Press Machines, VMCs, WEDM Machines, and Electroplating lines.
- Proven hands-on experience with relay logic, contactor logic, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, ladder diagrams, and control circuits.
- Ability to independently diagnose and resolve electrical and automation faults in production machinery.
- Solid understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and their integration with electrical controls.
