Job Description Summary

Candidate's requirments:

Well versed with Piping & Layout and their relevant codes and standards in Plant Engineering. Preferably in Hydro Power Plant Engineering
Very good understanding of basic design and detail design of Piping & Layout activities.
Hands on working knowledge in E3D, ACAD tools and Navisworks
Should be able to independently co-ordinate the all the stake holders to be perform the piping layout within defined schedule and budgeted manhours.
Knowledge of multi-disciplinary design workflows and understanding of 3D co-ordination process.
Functional reporting to your Layout COE leader and operationally to the System Integrator
EHS: - Implementation EHS policy & procedures during design aspect.
Should have good knowledge of equipment Loads/foundation civil requirements, equipment handling requirement.
Candidate having Basic knowledge of civil structural design (beam/column/slab/steel structure) which will be an added advantage.
Candidate should have minimum 5 to 8 years experience in Powerplant Layouts. Preferred Hydro Powerplant.
Academics: B.E. Mechanical engineer /Diploma In mechanical Engineering,

Job Description

Job Responsibilities

Expert on E3D & AutoCAD software for various type of hydro power plant networks routing (Piping/HVAC ducting/ Cable and Cable-tray) modelling.
Generate clash check report & resolve if any interference found using Navisworks.
Responsible for General arrangement drawings, isometrics and BOM for piping & pipe supports in E3D/Revit. Generate Powerhouse Overall Equipment Arrangement Layout drawing in Revit.
Should review and comment on the customer civil drawings, Equipment GA drawings and other consortium's network drawings and streamline the Layout interface and requirements.
Should proactively interact with other department for various inputs/interface requirement & keep the record. Participate/support in discussion/meetings with customer.
