Engineer - Network & Security

Responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and optimizing enterprise network and security infrastructure across data center and campus environments. The role involves working on multi-vendor technologies, ensuring high availability, security compliance, and seamless integrations across network platforms.

Key Skills & Technologies

Switching & Routing

• Experience with Cisco and Dell switches
• VLANs, STP, LACP, routing protocols (OSPF/BGP – preferred)
• Data center and campus network operations

Firewalls & Network Security

• Strong expertise in FortiGate, Palo Alto, Cisco, and Check Point firewalls
• Policy creation, NAT, VPN (Site-to-Site & Remote Access), IPS/IDS
• Log analysis, security incident troubleshooting, and rule optimization

Load Balancers & WAF

• Hands-on experience with A10, F5, and Citrix ADC
• Configuration and management of L4/L7 load balancing, SSL offloading, and WAF policies
• Troubleshooting performance, latency, and application delivery issues

Responsibilities

• Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot network and security infrastructure
• Handle incidents, service requests, and changes as per SLA
• Perform configuration changes, upgrades, and health checks
• Support integration of network devices with authentication and security platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a managed services environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/IT or equivalent
• OEM certifications (CCNA/CCNP, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Aruba, F5, Citrix – preferred)
• Experience in Managed Services / Enterprise Network Operations.
