Job Description – Material Management (MM) Engineer
- Responsible for end‑to‑end material management activities for New Project U171 and V3 extended volume , ensuring material availability as per production and project timelines.
- Handle direct and indirect procurement , including PR/PO processing, vendor follow‑up, and timely material deliveries.
- Manage SAP MM transactions , including material master maintenance, inventory management, GR/GI, MRP support, and stock reconciliation.
- Coordinate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal stakeholders for domestic and overseas consignments.
- Support new project launches, SOP activities, and volume ramp‑up , ensuring material readiness for trials, PPAP, and mass production.
- Monitor inventory levels , prevent shortages/excess stock, and ensure FIFO and inventory accuracy.
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, and Engineering teams to align demand–supply requirements.
- Support customer requirements and issue resolution related to material availability and delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SAP processes, and automotive quality standards .
- Prepare and share daily/weekly material status reports and highlight risks proactively.
Qualifications
MM Engineer – Key Requirements
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3-5 Years of experience in SCM
- SAP Knowledge: - Hands‑on experience in SAP MM module ,
- Automotive Experience: Prior automotive manufacturing experience preferred, with exposure to project launches, SOP support, and volume ramp‑up activities.
- English Communication: Good English communication skills (written and verbal) to coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and global stakeholders.
- Functional Exposure (Preferred): Experience in supplier coordination, overseas consignments, demand–supply planning, and support during new project launches and extended volume scenarios.
