Hiring: Engineering Manager – Calypso (Capital Markets)

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with strong Calypso expertise to lead strategic initiatives within a global Capital Markets landscape. This is a leadership role requiring a hands-on technologist who can drive architecture, mentor teams, and deliver high-quality solutions across Front, Middle, and Back Office platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of Calypso developers and technical specialists
- Drive end-to-end delivery: enhancements, upgrades, integrations, and transformations
- Provide architectural guidance for Calypso development and customization
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and tech teams
- Ensure high standards in design, code quality, and development practices
- Manage project planning, timelines, risks, and resource allocation
- Support production stability and continuous improvements
- Mentor and grow engineering talent
- Collaborate with global teams across regions
- Champion Agile delivery and contribute to long-term technology strategy
Mandatory Skills
- 10+ years in Capital Markets technology with strong Calypso experience
- Expertise in Calypso architecture, workflows, business events, and integrations
- Strong Java development background
- Experience across FO/MO/BO, Risk, and Trade Processing
- Knowledge of Fixed Income, FX, Derivatives, Money Markets
- Proven leadership experience managing technical teams
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
