Key Responsibilities
- Utilize the analytical skill set and Finite Element Simulation tools (Ansys) to perform complex structural analysis and recommendations for design improvements at different stages of product development process.
- Must have a hands-on experience in analyzing physics such as Static (Linear & non-linear) & Dynamic Structural analysis like Modal, harmonic & Random vibration at assembly and component levels.
- Perform strength and durability simulations of welded/non-welded, Metal and Plastic components.
- Drive and develop the FEA modelling techniques and improve of current best practices of the computational methods to increase simulation fidelity and engineering knowhow.
- Must be able to demonstrate capability on Materials specifications and Fatigue analysis.
- Oversight review & co-ordination on structural design point of view.
- Should be able to work flexible hours to co-ordinate with various Global locations.
- Should be efficient in maintaining the reports on activity schedule and technical status.
Education Qualification
- M.E./M-Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Automotive Engineering/ Civil Engineering or Related engineering Fields.
Technical Competence & Skills
- Solid foundation in the fundamentals of computational methods concerning structural analysis and heat transfer.
- Demonstrated skills in FEA software such as ANSYS tools.
- Working knowledge of multi-objective optimization techniques and surrogate modeling approaches for design exploration and performance improvement.
- Experience working with CAD tools such as Uni-Graphics (NX) and/or PTC Creo (Pro/E) for design modeling and geometry preparation.
- Strong ability to read, interpret, and analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
- Added advantage:
- Knowledge of FKM Guidelines, IIW recommendations, EN 12663 and BS 7608 standards.
- Experience in structural analysis of industrial structures for wind, seismic, snow with operational load using analysis tools like RISA-3D/ Staad-Pro.
- Knowledge of structural design codes like IBC-2024, Eurocode 9 and IS:875 (Part 3).
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, APDL, etc.) to automate simulation workflows.
- Basic understanding on the distributed computing, job schedulers, and performance tuning for running large-scale simulations efficiently.
- Awareness of digital thread concepts and simulation data integration in product lifecycle management (PLM) systems.

- 4-5 years of Industrial or Research work experience in FEA with minimum 4 years of hand-on experience using Ansys software.

- 10-20% travel based on the business needs.
