Job Requirements
We are looking for a dedicated Solar O&M Engineer to manage the operations, maintenance, and performance monitoring of ground-mounted solar power plants. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring maximum plant uptime, troubleshooting faults, preventive maintenance, and maintaining safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily operation and performance of ground-mounted solar PV plants.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Troubleshoot electrical, inverter, SCADA, and module-related faults.
- Ensure maximum plant generation and system availability.
- Analyze generation data and prepare performance reports.
- Coordinate module cleaning and maintenance schedules.
- Inspect transformers, HT/LT panels, breakers, and switchyard equipment.
- Conduct thermography, string testing, and routine inspections.
- Maintain records of breakdowns, maintenance logs, and spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and electrical standards.
- Coordinate with DISCOM, contractors, and service vendors when required.
- Support commissioning and testing activities during plant expansion/upgrades.
