What you will do:

As an API Mgt Engineer you will embark on a journey with us as we continue to enhance two capability offerings through our Corporate Service Bus and Apigee. • Maintenance and Support: Perform regular maintenance and updates to IT systems, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, and support end-users.
• Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical issues escalated from Level 1 and Level 2 support teams, providing expert-level troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Security Management: Implement and manage security measures to protect IT infrastructure from cyber threats and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals, including network engineers, system administrators, and security specialists, to ensure seamless integration and operation of IT systems.

All you will need for success

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS / MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience / training.
• Must be willing to work varying shifts (Day, Night, Split, or weekends).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS / MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience / training.
• Airline Industry experience.

Skills, Licenses & Certifications:

All candidates will need 3+ years experience with:

Apigee experience:

• Design, develop, configure, and troubleshoot APIs and policies using Apigee Edge.
• Defining overall API architecture / implementations, integration and deployment of API management platforms and API security and Access control (SAML, Web SSO, SSL / TLS etc).
• Design API Publishing guidelines, API Product designing and implementation of workflow for API Consumer onboarding on Apigee Developer Portal
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, Encryption / decryption.

Data Power experience:

• Develop complex designs, leads, abstract concepts, and strategies for DataPower Gateway.
• Assist in troubleshooting network connectivity problems or authentication / authorization with IBM DataPower Gateway.
• Understand data security, privacy and controls related to file transfers PCI / PII.
• Knowledge of Linux a plus.
• Familiarity with workflow and ITSM tools and ticketing systems.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interface at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and perform in a collaborative, team-based environment.
• Basic understanding of server-to-server communication in a large-scale network.
