Technical / Subject Knowledge
The candidate should have experience in some of the following listed areas:
- Independent working ability
- In-Depth knowledge of pressure, temperature, flow and level measurements in Petrochemical, Oil & Gas process
- Selection and sizing of flow meters and control valves
- Control and Switch Valves
- Basic knowledge of Control Systems, Shutdown Systems and Fire and Gas Monitoring systems
- Knowledge of developing Detailed Functional Block Diagram, Logic Diagram, Control schemes
- Good knowledge of I&C Construction Engineering
- Knowledge of International Codes & Standards pertaining to I&C
- Good knowledge of SI (SPI/InTools), COMOS
Software Tools & Technology
- MS Office, SI, COMOS, instrument sizing software

Key Role & Responsibility
- Read and understand the contract specification and prepare technical queries
- Prepare engineering documents and drawings, inquiry and purchase order specifications for various I&C equipment, Prepare Various process/mech/pneumatic/Electrical and installation Hook up drawings & wiring documents
- Interprets and applies codes & standards and customer design requirements
- Review and respond to technical queries raised by Client / PMC / Customer / Other disciplines / Site Teams
- Sizing and selection of field instruments, control valves
- Coordination with other engineering disciplines and interfaces with internal and external stake holders
- Participate in P&ID review, 3D model review and other project review meetings
- Reviews other discipline documents like P&IDs, equipment data sheets and equipment engineering drawings, plot plan etc.
- Participates in technical meetings with the Vendors/Suppliers
- Technical offer evaluation and preparation of Technical Bid Analysis
- Perform vendor drawing and document review including review of inspection and test reports
- Participate in final inspection & test of I&C equipment including skids at vendor works
