Job Purpose
IMS FM Teams primary purpose is to provide first level of fault management. 1st Level Fault Management is responsible to resolve network issues, network performance monitoring, system healthchecks to ensure that services are continuously available and performing to SLA performance levels.
Key Responsibilities
• 100% faults reported to be attended and cleared to maintain high service availability
• 100% TTs to be attended within agreed SLA
• 100% TTs to be updated with RFO and troubleshooting steps and then closed within agreed SLA.
• Ability to identify issues and run Probable Repair Actions for restoration
• Trouble Ticket Analysis
• Incident report
• Escalation Management
• Issue coordination with Vendor with required details to maintain SLA
• Support Preventive Maintenance / Planned Network activities
Scope
• Understanding of Telecom Network & technologies
• Understanding of Incident & Trouble Ticket Management Process
• Ability to handle Critical & Major Network Issues
• Adhere all standard processes for Corrective / Preventive & Planned maintenance.
• Good team player, motivation, Good Interpersonal relationship, Strong analytical skills, Good in troubleshooting, Time management & Good communication skills
• Compliance to Network SLAs
• Customer Orientation
• Work completion/ implementation as per target
• Able to work under pressure
• Candidate should be self learner.
• Shift Job 24*7 required.
Knowledge & Skills (Indicate which criteria are mandatory)
• Hands-on experience on Nokia / Mavenir or similar OEM IMS networks elements.
• Expert Level knowledge of IMS, QOS standards, Protocols (SIP / Diameter / SS7)
• Desirable: Handson experience on UNIX / Linux based systems
• Good Knowledge of call flows and detailed analysis and for providing end to end networking solution
• Desirable Certifications: Advanced Cisco or equivalent IP Certifications and any Certification related to Telecom shall be an added advantage.
