Thermo Fisher Scientificis seeking a highly skilled DevOps EngineerIIIto design, build, and scale secure, reliable, and automated cloudinfrastructure supporting mission-critical platforms.

This role requires a hands-on engineer who canindependentlydesign andimplementCI/CD systems, optimize cloud environments, and drive DevOps maturity across teams. You will play a key roleinimproving deployment velocity, operational resilience, andinfrastructure scalability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design,implement, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions toimprove deployment frequency and reliability

  • Manage and maintain on-premise Linux servers,including patching, upgrades, performance tuning, and lifecycle management
  • Lead and support production release activities, ensuring deployment reliability, rollback readiness, and post-release validation
  • Design and manage scalable AWSinfrastructure using Terraform andInfrastructure as Code best practices

  • Executecontainerization strategy and optimize Docker-based workloads

  • Improve system reliability through monitoring, observability, proactive alerting, and automation

  • Diagnoseand resolve build failures, pipeline performanceissues, and dependency conflicts
  • Reduce operational toil through scripting and automation (Bash, Terraform, tooling enhancements)

  • Partner with development teams to embed DevOps principles andimprove developer experience

  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to DevOps standards and architectural decisions

Required Experience

  • 5+ years of experiencein DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Engineering

  • Strong hands-on experience building and maintaining AWS-basedinfrastructure

  • Proven experienceimplementingCI/CD pipelinesin enterprise environments

  • Solid experience withInfrastructure as Code (Terraform)

  • Strong Linux systems expertise (Ubuntuand Debianpreferred)

  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker)

Preferred Experience

  • Experience designing highly available, scalable cloud architectures

  • Familiarity with container orchestration

  • Experienceimplementing monitoring and observability solutions

  • Understanding of cloud security, compliance, and governance best practices

  • Experience workingin regulated or enterprise environments
