Engineer II QA

Accelya is looking for an Engineer II - Quality Assurance to ensure our products and systems function properly and meet business needs. You'll be responsible for creating and implementing testing methods, recording test results, and providing recommendations to improve software programs.

What You'll Do:

• Review software specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback for test planning and procedures.
• Provide feedback to Leads about testing strategies, design fixes, and patches.
• Review and analyze system specifications.
• Perform system load tests for new products.
• Execute test scripts and review results.
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
• Report and document all issues.
• Make improvements to functionality, design, and usability of new products.

What You Need to Know:

• Experience conducting testing on Web-based/Desktop applications.
• Experience with Automation Frameworks used in Selenium or Katalon, and the ability to build automation scripts using keyword-driven framework.
• Experience building SQL queries and using PL/SQL and basic LINUX commands.
• Test script writing, using tools like XRAY/Jira.
• Hands-on experience with functional testing, integration testing, regression testing, security testing, performance testing, and UI testing.
• Any knowledge of the Airline Industry is an added benefit.
• Experience using automated test tools like Selenium will be an added advantage.
