Engineer II_NVMOF

Role & responsibilities

• 2-5 years experience in Storage QA testing with SSDs, firmware and storage subsystems.
• Excellent knowledge of storage arrays, such as JBOFs and JBOD.
• In-depth working knowledge of RESTfulAPI/ NVMeoF, NVME, SAS, SCSI, and PCIe protocols.
• Working knowledge of SSD/HDD and debugging skills is a plus.
• Understand Hardware and Software interaction.
• Working knowledge of NVMeoF and SAS analyzers is a plus.
• Install and configure various hardware and software components.
• Perform bug verification and drive issues to resolution.
• Ability to write Python scripts for automated tests and contribute towards automation framework.
• White box testing knowledge is a plus
• Ability to execute manual and automation tests.
• Solid working knowledge of operating systems: Windows / Linux including troubleshooting issues/problems with those systems.
• Work with cross-functional teams.
• Assist in customer escalations.
• Must have good debugging skills, Lecroy and JDSU (Viavi Tech) is a plus.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to achieve results in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
