Key Responsibilities
. Design and develop electrical systems for HVAC machines, including screw chillers and thermal products.
. Prepare and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, GA drawings, and BOMs.
. Select and integrate electrical components such as MCCBs, contactors, relays, VFDs, sensors, heaters, and protection devices.
. Support control panel design, power distribution, earthing, and safety interlocks for chiller systems.
. Support PLC and HMI programming activities, including basic logic modifications, I/O mapping, tag management, and parameter settings.
. Coordinate BMS integration (e.g., BACnet/Modbus) and support testing, signal mapping, and system validation.
. Participate in dry testing, DVT, and performance testing of machines in lab and factory environments.
. Troubleshoot electrical and control-related issues during development, production, and site commissioning.
. Coordinate with Mechanical, Controls, Software, QA, Sourcing, and Service teams for system integration and issue resolution.
. Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety guidelines, and company processes.
. Support component localization and cost optimization initiatives without impacting quality or performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications
. Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
. 3-6 years of relevant industry experience (Engineer II level).
. Strong machine-level experience in HVAC systems, especially screw chiller machines.
. Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems, control panels, and VFD-based applications.
. Working experience or exposure to PLC and HMI programming in industrial applications.
. Knowledge of BMS integration protocols such as Bacnet and Modbus is preferred.
. Basic knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Structured Text (ST), and Function Block Diagram (FBD).
. Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting HVAC equipment.
. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, control schematics, and documentation.
. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
