Engineer I - Field Service (Projects)Location & Role

• Location: Ahmedabad, India | Full-Time (On-site & Office) | Service Operations

Experience

• 6 - 8 years of experience or fresh graduate with exposure to HVAC/piping systems
• Basic exposure to chilled water systems, plumbing, pumps, and thermal systems
• Basic understanding of HVAC accessories and control systems

Job Summary

• Support design, execution, and commissioning of liquid cooling systems for data centres while developing technical expertise

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Delivery

• Support execution of liquid cooling projects under guidance of senior engineers
• Participate in project meetings and assist in documentation
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for site execution activities
• Assist in tracking project timelines and deliverables
• Support HVAC chilled water, plumbing, and fire line piping execution

Testing & Validation

• Assist in testing and commissioning of cooling systems
• Support data collection and basic analysis during validation
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards

Service & Operations

• Apply basic knowledge of heat transfer, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics
• Support preventive maintenance and troubleshooting activities
• Assist in implementation of service bulletins
• Maintain documentation, reports, and site records

Preferred Criteria

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Basic knowledge of HVAC and piping systems
• Exposure to AutoCAD/Revit (preferred)
• Good communication skills and willingness to learn
• Basic problem-solving ability and teamwork skills
