Key Responsibilities

Network Infrastructure Design

• Design endtoend network architectures (LAN/WAN/WLAN/Data Center).
• Develop highlevel and lowlevel network design documents.
• Evaluate new technologies and propose enhancements to modernize infrastructure.
• Ensure network designs align with business, security, and compliance requirements.

Implementation & Deployment

• Install, configure, and optimize routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, and SDWAN appliances.
• Lead largescale network upgrades, migrations, and rollouts.
• Perform network integration with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP), where applicable.
• Configure routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, VPNs, QoS, and security policies.

New Device Testing & Validation

• Test and validate new network devices (routers, switches, wireless controllers, firewalls).
• Conduct PoC (ProofofConcept) evaluations for new vendors or technologies.
• Perform firmware and software compatibility testing and performance benchmarking.
• Document test results and recommend approval or changes before production rollout.

Operations & Troubleshooting

• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot complex issues.
• Conduct rootcause analysis for critical incidents and implement preventive measures.
• Ensure high network uptime and reliability across all sites.
• Support capacity planning and performance optimization.

Documentation & Standards

• Maintain accurate network diagrams, device inventories, and configuration baselines.
• Define network engineering standards, processes, and best practices.
• Provide knowledge transfer to operations and support teams.
