Engineer -Geosynthetics

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Geosynthetic Engineer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of geosynthetic products and their applications in infrastructure, environmental, mining, transportation, water management, and civil engineering projects.

This role involves technical design support, client interaction, project coordination, and providing engineering solutions using geosynthetic materials.

Key Responsibilities

Design and recommend geosynthetic solutions for civil and infrastructure projects.

Prepare technical proposals, calculations, BOQs, drawings, and design reports.

Evaluate project requirements and recommend appropriate geotextiles, geomembranes, geogrids, geocells, GCLs, and other geosynthetic products.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and project teams.

Provide technical presentations and support to the sales team.

Review engineering drawings and specifications.

Assist in tender preparation and technical documentation.

Conduct site visits for inspections, installation guidance, and troubleshooting.

Ensure compliance with relevant Indian and international standards.

Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's degree preferred).

5–10+ years of experience in geosynthetics, civil infrastructure, environmental engineering, or related industries.

Strong understanding of:

Geotextiles

Geomembranes

Geogrids

Geocells

Geocomposites

Drainage Systems

Experience with roads, railways, landfills, mining, irrigation, retaining walls, embankments, and water infrastructure projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office.

Knowledge of geotechnical design principles is highly desirable.

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.

Ability to travel to project sites when required.

Preferred Skills

Experience working with EPC contractors, consultants, or geosynthetic manufacturers.

Familiarity with IRC, BIS, ASTM, ISO, and other applicable standards.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Project management and coordination experience.
