Engineer Electrical Design

We are seeking a proactive Engineer Electrical Design to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the full electrical design and development lifecycle, from selecting instruments and preparing bills of materials to ensuring compliance with international standards. This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can create precise design documents and drawings while working collaboratively with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to support project activities.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks

• Select instruments, prepare the Bill of Materials (BOM), and release documentation on the project server.
• Create essential documents such as the DQ Document, As-Built Documents for FAT and SAT, and packing documents.
• Interact with suppliers and customers to select suitable components for various processes.
• Collaborate with the Automation team for project software requirements and with the Process Engineering team during pre-sale activities.
• Conduct Control Cabinet functionality tests, IO tests, and process instrument calibrations during PRE-FAT, FAT, and SAT activities.
• Design control cabinet layouts and create electrical schematic drawings using ePLAN 2025 software.
• Perform heat load and power load calculations for control cabinets.
• Ensure all designs meet the requirements of international standards and regulations, including CE, UL, ATEX, and IECEx.

Qualifications

• A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven relevant experience in an electrical design role.

Skills

• Proficiency in electrical schematic design and layout using software like ePLAN 2025.
• Strong knowledge of international standards and regulations (CE, UL, ATEX, IECEx).
• Experience with instrument selection, BOM creation, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
• The ability to perform heat load and power load calculations.
• Strong attention to detail and a results-oriented approach.
