About This Job Role

We are hiring an Electrical Protection Engineer for a leading organization in Dubai. The role involves commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of modern protection systems used in electrical distribution networks. The candidate will also be responsible for fault analysis, protection scheme verification, emergency breakdown handling, and technical reporting.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong experience in electrical protection systems, relay testing, and commissioning
• Knowledge of protection drawings, schemes, and international standards
• Experience with relay testing software and computerized testing equipment
• Valid GCC Driving License and good knowledge of electrical safety practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Commission, test, maintain, and troubleshoot modern electrical protection equipment and protection schemes.
• Review and verify protection drawings and schemes for distribution networks.
• Attend emergency breakdowns, perform troubleshooting, and identify protection-related issues.
• Conduct fault analysis and prepare detailed abnormality and fault reports.
• Operate computerized relay testing equipment and relay software for testing and commissioning.
• Ensure all maintenance and testing activities comply with international standards and safety procedures.
