Engineer - Database Administration

Daily operations responsibilities include handling and serving as the team member on the following items/activities:

• Monitoring system alerts and errors and resolve issues
• Performing daily database checks
• Controlling and monitoring user access/Grants to the database
• Managing password change and troubleshooting Issues
• Code extract from database
• Support Users in Deployment in Dev/QA/Prod
• Knowledge of Backup and restores
• Monitoring database usage.
• Troubleshooting database and Alerts.
• Participation in Patching

What you need to have:

• A minimum of 1-year hands-on experience with any Oracle database technology.
• Ability to work independently and as a team on multiple tasks and commitment to deadlines.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and will to be able to drill down into the issues.
• Results-focused, analytical approach with a strong customer / client service ethos.
