Engineer - Bush Casting - Production

Production Planning & Execution

• Plan and execute daily/weekly/monthly production targets for lead bush casting lines.
• Ensure smooth workflow from melting, casting, machining, finishing, and inspection.
• Optimize manpower, machines, and material utilization to achieve maximum efficiency.

Process Control & Improvement

• Monitor casting parameters such as temperature, alloy composition, pouring rate, and cooling cycles.
• Implement process improvements to reduce rejection and improve yield.
• Develop SOPs, work instructions, and standard process parameters.

Quality Assurance

• Ensure production adheres to quality standards (ISO, IATF, customer-specific requirements).
• Conduct root-cause analysis for defects like porosity, shrinkage, cracks, dimensional deviations.
• Coordinate with QA/QC to maintain SPC, control charts, and traceability documentation.

Team & Shopfloor Management

• Lead operators, technicians, and contract workforce to achieve shift-wise goals.
• Train and upskill shopfloor teams on safety, machine operation, and process adherence.
• Conduct shift meetings, review production results, and assign responsibilities.
