Job Description

  • NVH level target setting for powertrain.
  • NVH evaluation of powertrain and the achievement of defined unit level targets.
  • Execution of advance powertrain projects including Flex fuels / Biofuels / HEVs etc.
  • Knowledge of Modal Analysis, Transfer Path Analysis to solve complex NVH issues.
  • Summarization of findings along with objective evaluation of counter-measure effectiveness.
  • Tracking the trend of future powertrain technology and their NVH impact.
  • Interact regularly with Market Quality, New development quality and Engineering Design Departments.
  • Competencies
  • Relevant work experience in Powertrain NVH (ICE/Hybrid/EV/ Alternate fuels ICE )
  • Know-how of NVH characteristics of engine and its subsystems.
  • Understanding of new model/unit design & development.
  • Experience of unit testing on engine dynamometers and anechoic chamber operation.
  • Skills in using software like IMC FAMOS, CONCERTO, INCA and other NVH tools like Siemens Test lab.
  • Hand-on experience in operating the Engine dynamometer and anechoic chamber facilities
  • Qualification
  • B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Production / Electrical Engineering
