Guide and oversee SAM system projects from development through testing deployment and firing trials. 2. Guide and enable the Design & Development, Testing, Qualification, Flight integration and testing of Actuators, Flight Control sensors and FM&CLAW, Guidance & Navigation, HILS. 3. To collaborate with designer agencies, cross-functional teams, suppliers, customer agencies to ensure seamless integration and functionality of SAM systems. 4. Guide the Production, Testing & Qualification of SAM Systems. 5. Guide the Planning , Procurement/Setting-up & Operationalisation of development & testing/ validation facilities. Essential a. Retired scientist from Govt. Research Laboratories. b. Proficiency in Technologies like FM&CLAW, 6DoF simulations, validation using HILS, Guidance & Navigation, System Engineering c. Understanding of prerequisites and specifications of SAM System programs and liaison with Armed Forces for future requirements d. Knowledge in SAM Weapon System comprising of SAM missile, RF Seeker, Ground based Radar, Control Center, and Launcher. e. Knowledge in Missiles, UAVs comprising of Flight Mechanics and Control Law, Navigation Systems, System Engineering. f. Experience of design, development, and production in projects related to Missile and UAV's. g. Design flight path mission and to meet mission objectives in co-ordination with Integrated Test Range. Desirable a. Association with entire life cycle of the SAM System which includes phases like design, development, user acceptance and obtaining approvals such as CEMILAC certification. b. Patents/Paper publications in the field of Navigation and Guidance is desirable. c. Excellent problem solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast paced competitive environment. Interview/ Personal Interaction                                                                         Page 2 of 4      1.  Term of Contract: The Advisor will be engaged initially for a period of 1 year and the contract may be extended at the discretion of the Company as per the requirement, if services of the advisor are found useful and satisfactory. 2. Age: (As on 01.07.2026) The maximum age limit for applying for the post is 62 years (Age as on 01.07.2026). 3. Qualification: B.E/B.Tech/B.Sc in Electronics (M.E/M.Tech/MS degree in Aerospace is preferred). 4. Remuneration: The remuneration payable to Advisors in payscale group 14 & above shall be the last pay drawn, i.e. Basic Pay at the time of superannuation from the previous Government Organisation. In the event of extension, the remuneration for the extended period (i.e. one year) shall be increased annually by 5% on the last drawn remuneration (excluding conveyance component). If the advisors have gained relevant expe rience working in other Organizations post retirement, this experience can be considered to enhance their last drawn pay by an additional 5% per year. The number of years of experience post retirement would also be considered for age relaxation. This will be evaluated based on the relevance and value of the post-retirement experience to BEL's projects and considered at the discretion and recommendation of the Selection Committee. 5. Mode of operation: Hybrid Mode - The Advisor will function either from the Bangalore or from residence, out of which, minimum 8 working days in a month shall be from Bangalore. Conveyance: BEL shall make transport arrange ments. In the event of non-utilization of Company provided car, conveyance reimbursement shall be payable at the rate of Rs.8,000/- per month.      6. Shortlisted candidates shall be called for the Interview. 6.2 The results of the final selecti on will be available on BEL website. 6.3 Provisional offer of engagement will be issued to the selected candidate by email. 7.
