The Windows Endpoint Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining enterprise-level Windows endpoint solutions. This role ensures secure, reliable, and efficient management of Windows devices across the organization, leveraging modern endpoint management tools and best practices. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Windows operating systems, endpoint security, automation, and architecture design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Architecture & Design
    • Develop and maintain the overall architecture for Windows endpoint management.
    • Define standards, policies, and procedures for endpoint configuration, security, and lifecycle management.
    • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to improve endpoint performance and security.
  • Implementation & Management
    • Defines and develops IT project portfolio management compliance with KPIs. Coordinates project portfolio reviews, resource planning, and vendor performance reviews. Implement zero-touch provisioning and automated deployment strategies.
  • Security & Compliance
    • Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Implement endpoint hardening, encryption, and vulnerability remediation strategies.
    • Monitor and respond to endpoint-related security incidents.
  • Automation & Optimization
    • Develop scripts and automation workflows (PowerShell, etc.) to streamline endpoint management tasks.
    • Optimize performance and reliability of endpoint systems through proactive monitoring and tuning.
  • Collaboration & Support
    • Work closely with IT security, network, and application teams to ensure integrated solutions.
    • Provide Tier 3 support for complex endpoint issues.
    • Document architecture, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
    • Recommend architectural changes as perceived needs arise, Serve as single-technology workgroup lead for operational contractors

Required Qualifications

  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
  • 5+ years of experience in Windows Endpoint engineering and architecture.
  • Expertise in:
    • Windows 10/11 OS and related technologies.
    • Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), SCCM, Active Directory, Group Policy.
    • PowerShell scripting and automation.
  • Strong understanding of endpoint security principles and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience with modern device management (MDM) and zero-trust principles.
