Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Endpoint DLP Engineer with strong expertise in deploying, configuring, and managing endpoint data loss prevention solutions. The engineer will be responsible for securing endpoints across Windows and macOS environments, integrating with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, and troubleshooting endpoint control issues.

This role requires a highly skilled professional who can communicate effectively in Spanish with stakeholders, document technical procedures, and lead incident response activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and configure Endpoint DLP policies on Windows and macOS devices.
  • Implement and integrate Microsoft Defender for Endpoint with security baselines and enterprise policies.
  • Troubleshoot endpoint controls including device restrictions, removable media protection, and policy enforcement issues.
  • Monitor, analyze, and respond to DLP incidents and alerts.
  • Collaborate with security operations and compliance teams to enhance endpoint protection strategy.
  • Provide clear documentation, technical reports, and knowledge transfer in Spanish.
  • Conduct end-user training and awareness sessions where necessary.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of professional experience in IT Security, with a focus on Endpoint Protection & DLP.
  • Hands-on expertise with Endpoint DLP solutions (Windows & macOS).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience with endpoint controls such as USB blocking, application control, and encryption policies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview DLP integration is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and incident response skills.
  • Excellent communication skills in Spanish (both spoken and written).
  • Ability to work independently and in global, cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Microsoft Security certifications (SC-400, SC-200, or similar).
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview Information Protection (MIP).
  • Prior work in highly regulated industries (finance, healthcare, government).
