Job Description

Job Title: IT Support Specialist (Onsite)

Location: Pune, India

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Engagement Type: 1-Year B2B Contract

Compensation: $490 USD per month

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated IT Support Specialist to provide onsite end-user support, manage office IT infrastructure, and assist with asset and project-based activities. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, managing device lifecycles, and coordinating with remote teams and third-party vendors.

Key Responsibilities:

End-User Support:

  • Provide onsite support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals (Windows, macOS, Linux)
  • Handle provisioning, deployment, replacement, and decommissioning of IT equipment
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, and user-related issues
  • Coordinate escalations with Level 2 support teams

Office Infrastructure Support:

  • Support network connectivity, printing, voice, AV, and workplace technologies
  • Install and maintain switches, routers, and access points
  • Assist with smart office solutions and conference room technologies
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and support

Asset Management:

  • Manage IT asset lifecycle including receiving, labeling, imaging, and tracking
  • Conduct inventory audits and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate warranty repairs, redeployment, and disposal
  • Ensure compliance with asset management policies

Project & Site Support:

  • Support office moves, hardware refreshes, and infrastructure projects
  • Assist with events, demos, and technology deployments
  • Provide remote hands support and vendor coordination

Required Skills:

  • Experience with Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile device support
  • Basic networking knowledge (LAN, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, access points)
  • Hands-on experience in asset management and inventory control
  • Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with remote teams
