Role Overview
The End User Computing & Digital Workplace Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and governing enterprise-wide EUC solutions that deliver a secure, efficient, and seamless digital experience for employees. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on technical expertise to ensure endpoint platforms, virtual desktops, and collaboration tools align with business objectives.
- Proven experience in delivering and supporting enterprise-class services
- Define and maintain the EUC & Digital Workplace architecture roadmap aligned with business, with the ability to conceive an end-to-end IT strategy for an organisation
- Experience designing and delivering Cloud or hybrid based solutions
- Experience in a mix of technologies, including Virtualisation(Azure Virtual Desktop, CItrix), Device Management, Active Directory, Azure, Office 365, Windows 365 or other End User Computing disciplines
- Lead design and governance for including Endpoint platforms (Intune, MECM), Autopilot, application delivery, and related tools.
- Implement security baselines, Conditional Access, and compliance policies. Ensure adherence to regulatory and audit requirements.
- In-depth understanding on how these technologies relate and how to architect an overall solution rather than several individual ones
- Engage with business units to understand requirements and improve digital employee experience.
- Work closely with vendors, integrators, and OEMs to evaluate solutions and negotiate capabilities.
- Partner with Security, Network, and Application teams to deliver integrated solutions.
- Create, review and improve technical documentation, architecture standards, SOPs and operational runbooks. Participate in Change Advisory Board (CAB) and governance forums.
- Understanding of technology trends & market innovations & adapting these to the required client roadmaps
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 812 years in EUC/endpoint management, with at least 3 years in an architect/specialist role.
- Technical Expertise:
- Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune, MECM), Autopilot, Windows Update for Business.
- VDI technologies (Azure Virtual Desktop, Citrix, VMware Horizon).
- macOS and mobile device management (Jamf, Apple DEP, Android Enterprise).
- Security tools (Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access).
- Active Directory, Entra ID, PKI, VPN/ZTNA, FSLogix, scripting (PowerShell).
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
