Description
We are seeking an experienced Encompass QA professional to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our Encompass software through rigorous testing processes. You will work closely with developers and product managers to deliver a high-quality product that meets our clients needs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough testing of Encompass software to ensure functionality and performance meet required standards.
- Identify, document, and track defects in the software using appropriate tools.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for various software modules.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and agile ceremonies to promote efficient workflow within the team.
- Provide support during user acceptance testing and assist in training users on the application.
Skills and Qualifications
- 4-9 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing, preferably in the financial services domain.
- Proficiency in testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Encompass software and its functionalities.
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- Ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
