Seeking a senior Encompass expert to lead architecture, optimization, and integrations across our enterprise LOS ecosystem.
About the Role
We are hiring an Encompass Architect to drive the design, enhancement, and long-term strategy of our Encompass Loan Origination System (LOS). This role requires deep expertise in Encompass workflows, architecture, integrations, and the mortgage loan life cycle, with full ownership of system scalability, customization, and compliance alignment.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and implement enterprise-level Encompass LOS solutions.
- Own and govern Encompass architecture across workflows, personas, business rules, plugins, custom forms, and system configurations.
- Lead platform upgrades, migrations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives.
- Develop and manage integration strategies using Encompass SDK, APIs, Developer Connect API, and third-party services.
- Ensure the system adheres to mortgage compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and convert them into scalable technical designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex Encompass issues across the platform.
- Mentor Encompass Developers and support administration teams.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on Encompass LOS experience.
- Strong expertise in Encompass SDK, APIs, Plugin Development, and Developer Connect API.
- Proficiency with Milestones, personas, business rules, workflow automation, and custom forms.
- Deep understanding of mortgage loan origination workflows and LOS processes.
- Proven experience in system architecture, design, and implementation.
- Experience integrating Encompass with LOS add-ons, AUS engines, CRM platforms, and related systems.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities.
Preferred
- ICE Encompass Certifications.
- Experience with Ellie Mae/ICE tools and services.
- Exposure to additional LOS platforms (Calyx, LendingSpace, MeridianLink, etc.).
