Job Title: Emulation Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Execution and debug of tests on SOC/GPU Emulation models to validate new features
- Collaborate with design, verification, and architecture teams to identify and resolve potential issues.
- Perform emulation tasks, including performance tuning and debugging.
- Analyze results and provide feedback to engineering teams on design modifications.
- Debugging failures using waveform viewers, log files and microcode trace dumps
- Stay up to date with the latest trends in emulation tools, techniques, and technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Strong experience in emulation model build and simulation, with familiarity in industry-standard tools like Veloce, Palladium, ZEBU, HAPs, Protium
- Emulation debug (state experience required)
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Verilog, system Verilog, C, C++, Python, Ruby, Shell and TCL test content.
- Solid understanding of hardware architectures and design principles.
- Experience with FPGA-based emulation platforms is a plus.
- Knowledge of current industry GFX Architectures
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good to have familiarity with Gaming Silicon product lines, including CPUs, GPUs, and APUs.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
