We are looking for an Employee Screening Executive to support end-to-end employment screening and workforce compliance activities. This role plays a key part in ensuring hiring decisions are backed by accurate verification, strong data governance, and a seamless candidate experience.

You'll work closely with candidates, HR partners, and external verification vendors to manage checks efficiently, resolve issues proactively, and maintain the highest standards of data confidentiality and compliance.

What You'll Be Doing
Employment Screening Operations
Manage and execute employment screening workflows, including education, employment, criminal, and financial checks.

Monitor verification progress to ensure timely completion within defined SLAs.

Review verification outcomes, identify discrepancies, and flag risks appropriately.

Candidate & Stakeholder Coordination
Act as the main point of contact for candidates and internal HR teams regarding screening status and requirements.

Communicate clearly and professionally to resolve missing information, inconsistencies, or delays.

Provide guidance to candidates on documentation and verification steps.

Compliance & Data Governance
Ensure all screening activities comply with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards, including data privacy requirements.

Maintain accurate and audit-ready records within HR systems and verification tools.

Handle sensitive personal data with the highest level of discretion and integrity.

Vendor & Process Management
Coordinate with third-party screening partners to ensure quality, accuracy, and turnaround times.

Track vendor performance and escalate issues where necessary.

Identify opportunities to improve screening workflows, reduce turnaround time, and enhance the overall experience.

What We're Looking For
12 years of experience in employment screening, HR operations, onboarding, or compliance-related roles.

Bachelor's degree in any discipline.

Basic understanding of employment compliance, screening standards, and data privacy principles.

Prior exposure to working with external verification or HR service vendors.

High attention to detail with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Clear written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable working with HRIS, ATS, or background screening platforms.

Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
