Hiring for an Employee Relations for a top global aerospace and defence innovator offering impactful, cutting-edge work

  • Work Mode: Hybrid (2 days WFO)

Role & responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and supervisors, providing timely support on HR policies, payroll, benefits, and workplace-related queries with accuracy and professionalism.
  • Ensure prompt resolution of employee concerns by leveraging HR contact centre processes, policy frameworks, and knowledge management resources.
  • Maintain a high standard of employee experience by delivering consistent, empathetic, and solution-oriented HR support.
  • Manage and document all employee interactions, cases, and resolutions within the HR case management system for compliance and service efficiency.
  • Support payroll operations by accurately submitting attendance, leave, overtime, and workforce-related inputs within defined timelines.
  • Act as a key resource for managers and employees on HR policies, employee benefits, compliance procedures, and organizational guidelines.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including benefits vendors, to ensure smooth and effective HR service delivery.
  • Participate in employee relations activities, including disciplinary processes, investigations, domestic enquiries, and related documentation.
  • Liaise with government authorities on statutory compliance matters and ensure adherence to labour regulations when required.
  • Drive awareness and understanding of employee benefits, policy changes, and compliance initiatives through training sessions and communication programs.
  • Assist in performance management processes, including review cycles and employee communication initiatives.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives such as survey participation and kiosk-based workforce programs.
  • Encourage the use of digital HR platforms and self-service solutions to enhance operational efficiency and employee convenience.

Candidate requirements:

  • 5-8 years of progressive HR experience, ideally within manufacturing, plant operations, or unionized workforce environments.
  • Strong expertise in India payroll processing, leave administration, employee benefits management, and day-to-day HR operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Indian labour laws, statutory regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to thrive in fast-paced plant or operational settings while effectively managing workforce challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with MSW/MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, stakeholder management, and communication skills to effectively support employees, managers, and external partners.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS platforms is an added advantage for digital HR operations and process efficiency.
