Title: Employee Relations

Location : Bangalore (Hybrid – 2 days office)

 

Job Description:

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for supervisors and employees, addressing general HR queries, policy clarifications, and payroll questions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Ensure timely closure of employee inquiries using HR Contact Center procedures, policy manuals, and knowledge resources.
  • Maintain high levels of employee satisfaction by delivering consistent, accurate, and empathetic HR support.
  • Document all employee interactions, transactions, and resolutions in the HR case management system.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless delivery of HR services such as Benefit vendors.
  • Support payroll activities by submitting monthly attendance, overtime, leave inputs, and other workforce data accurately and on time.
  • Participate in disciplinary discussions, domestic enquiries, investigations, and documentation.
  • On need basis Liase with Govt Authorities for all statutory matters.
  • Act as a subject matter resource for employees and managers on benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Coordinate and deliver awareness sessions on employee benefits, policy updates, and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with performance review cycles and related communications
  • Assist with employee engagement surveys for participation using Kiosks.
  • Promote adoption of digital HR services and self-service tools to improve employee experience.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (MSW/MBA/PGDM in HR preferred).

Experience

  • 5–8 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, plant HR / unionized workforce management.
  • Experience with Workday or similar HRIS system is an advantage.
  • Prior experience with processing India payroll, leave management, and benefits.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Service-minded with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
  • Working knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, plant/operations environment.
