About the Role
We are seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians (Freelancers) to help improve how AI models understand, analyze, and reason about emergency care, acute patient management, rapid clinical decision-making, triage, resuscitation, and evidence-based treatment in high-pressure healthcare environments.
In this role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to create realistic emergency medicine scenarios, evaluate AI-generated responses, develop expert reference answers, and provide structured feedback that helps improve the accuracy, clinical reasoning, and decision-making capabilities of advanced AI systems.
What You'll Do
- Design realistic emergency medicine and acute care scenarios based on real-world clinical encounters
- Develop expert-level reference responses aligned with current emergency medicine guidelines and standards of care
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for diagnostic accuracy, triage appropriateness, treatment recommendations, patient safety, and clinical reasoning
- Grade AI outputs using structured evaluation frameworks and rubrics
- Provide detailed written feedback to help improve model performance
- Participate in onboarding sessions, calibration exercises, and specialty-specific review activities
- Collaborate with AI researchers and healthcare experts to enhance model capabilities
Researchers & Fellows
- Currently pursuing or have completed advanced medical training in Emergency Medicine or related disciplines
- Strong foundation in acute patient assessment, emergency procedures, resuscitation, and critical decision-making
- Ability to apply evidence-based medical knowledge in time-sensitive and high-acuity clinical situations
Preferred Qualifications
- MD, DNB, Residency, Fellowship, MRCEM, FACEP, or equivalent training in Emergency Medicine
- Experience working in emergency departments, trauma centers, urgent care facilities, or critical care settings
- Strong understanding of triage protocols, emergency procedures, trauma management, and acute care pathways
- Ability to critically evaluate clinical evidence, emergency medicine guidelines, and healthcare recommendations
- Excellent written communication and analytical skills
- Prior experience reviewing medical content, clinical documentation, emergency care protocols, or research publications is a plus
