Emergency Doctor

We are seeking a dynamic and efficient Emergency Doctor to provide immediate medical attention and life-saving care in the emergency department. The role involves rapid assessment, diagnosis, and stabilization of patients with acute illnesses or injuries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide immediate medical care to patients in the emergency/casualty department.
• Triage patients and prioritize cases based on the severity of condition.
• Perform emergency procedures (intubation, CPR, defibrillation, wound suturing, etc.).
• Manage acute cases: trauma, cardiac arrest, stroke, poisoning, respiratory distress, etc.
• Coordinate with specialty departments (Surgery, ICU, Pediatrics) for patient handover or admission.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of case notes and medico-legal cases (MLCs).
• Monitor patient progress and assist in stabilization before referral or admission.
• Participate in code blue or rapid response situations.
• Follow infection control and emergency protocols diligently.

Skills Required:

• Strong clinical acumen and decision-making under pressure
• Emergency life support (ACLS, BLS) certified preferred
• Teamwork and leadership in high-stress environments
• Familiarity with hospital protocols, MLC documentation, and emergency drugs
• Excellent communication with patients, attendants, and multi-disciplinary teams

Work Schedule:

• Rotational 8- or 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays
• On-call duty during off-hours if required
