Job Description
- Patient Care Support Assist in initial patient assessment and triage support. Provide basic patient care, including vital signs monitoring, patient positioning, and transport. Assist in handling trauma and emergency cases. 2. Emergency Procedures Assistance Assist doctors and nurses during resuscitation (BLS/ACLS), intubation, and emergency procedures. Support in IV line insertion, oxygen therapy, suctioning, and wound care (as per training). 3. Equipment Handling Operate and maintain emergency equipment such as defibrillators, ventilators, monitors, and suction apparatus. Ensure readiness and availability of emergency equipment at all times. 4. Patient Monitoring Continuously monitor vital parameters and report abnormalities immediately. Assist in transferring patients to the ICU, wards, or diagnostic departments. 5. Documentation & Coordination Maintain accurate records of patient care activities and procedures. Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments for smooth patient care. 6. Infection Control & Safety Follow infection control protocols and biomedical waste management guidelines. Ensure safety standards are maintained in emergency care. Qualifications & Experience Diploma / B.Sc. in Emergency Medical Technology / Paramedical course. Certification in BLS / ACLS preferred. 1–3 years of experience in emergency care preferred. Freshers with relevant training may be considered.
