Job Description

• Should have Experience in EMC Networker 9 X 18 X or later version
• Should have experience and understanding Labels Media Devices Groups Clients NBD Hot Add mode
• Knows EMC backup and Recovery administration and maintenance
• Should have fair experience on DPA reporting tool and customization of reports as per the environment requirements
• Should have hands on experience on DELL EMC Data domain administration
• Upgrades capacity management Should be good in Unix and windows administration
• Should understand Networker Architecture Strong skills in Backup troubleshooting
• Should understand the Networker process flow
• Should have knowledge of installation of client server of networker Understand tape drives and tape libraries
• Understand and worked on Tapes LTO 7 LTO 8 other types of tape media
• Excellent communication written skills
• Ensures adherence to SLAs by resolving tickets Checks health of the backup environment and reports anomaly
• Should be Perform backup testing and restore activities Responsible for attending to daily service requests Adhoc backup requests
• Create documentation for changes process maps system diagrams RCA etc
• Having knowledge of other backup technologies is added advantage
