Embedded Test Architect

Lead the architecture and strategy for embedded software testing and validation across automotive/embedded systems.

Define end-to-end test strategies, methodologies, processes, and automation frameworks for embedded products.

Design and implement scalable test architectures covering unit, integration, system, and validation testing.

Develop test plans, test specifications, test cases, test procedures, and traceability aligned with system requirements.

Work closely with embedded software, hardware, systems, and validation teams to identify and resolve defects.

Drive test automation using Python, CAPL, MATLAB/Simulink, or other relevant scripting and testing tools.

Perform SIL, HIL, MIL, bench, and vehicle-level testing as applicable to the product.

Analyze test results, logs, diagnostics, and system behavior to identify root causes of failures.

Define test environments, tools, interfaces, and automation infrastructure for continuous testing.

Ensure compliance with automotive quality and functional safety standards such as ASPICE and ISO 26262.

Mentor test engineers and provide technical leadership on complex embedded testing challenges.

Collaborate with stakeholders to establish quality metrics, test coverage, defect management, and release readiness.

Participate in design reviews, requirement reviews, risk assessments, and technical discussions.

Drive continuous improvement of testing processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality
