Embedded Systems Test Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Embedded Systems Test Engineer with 24 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Python scripting, embedded systems, test life cycle processes, and communication protocols. You will be responsible for test planning, execution, automation, and defect tracking to ensure the highest quality of embedded products.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and prepare comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.

Create test plans and test cases from feature descriptions and validate functionality.

Report and track bugs/issues using bug or requirement tracking tools.

Investigate and resolve testing-related issues and challenges.

Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment and communication.

Execute manual and automated test procedures and analyze test results.

Work with test automation tools/equipment for embedded systems testing (preferred).

Required Skills & Qualifications

24 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems testing.

Strong knowledge of Python scripting for automation/testing.

Good understanding of Software Test Life Cycle (STLC) and testing methodologies.

Proficiency in bug life cycle and experience using test management tools.

Familiarity with communication protocols such as CAN, MODBUS, RS232/RS485.

Exposure to test automation tools and equipment used in embedded system validation is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related discipline.

ISTQB or similar testing certification (a plus).
