Job Description

Company Description Spaceborn is building a unified infrastructure stack for intelligent autonomous machines, integrating operating systems, artificial intelligence, simulation, hardware, cloud platforms, and developer technologies. The company leads the development of ANSA, a simulation-first autonomy platform that emphasizes deterministic execution, hardware abstraction, safety runtimes, and vendor-neutral compute architecture. Spaceborn also develops DERYK, a physical intelligence platform with agentic AI, world models, multimodal memory, and mission intelligence for autonomous systems. Through Certanity and the ANSA Reality Engine, Spaceborn provides a comprehensive simulation and digital twin environment with specialized simulators for validation, testing, and autonomy development. The ecosystem further expands through KHONSU for physical execution across multiple domains and DESTNY for brand, communication, and ecosystem growth, offering interns exposure to cutting-edge autonomous systems technologies.
Role Description As an Embedded Systems Engineer Intern at Spaceborn, you will contribute to the design, implementation, and testing of embedded software for controllers and edge computing platforms used in autonomous systems. You will help integrate sensors, actuators, and communication modules, ensuring reliable interaction between hardware and software across IoT and robotics applications. Daily tasks include writing and debugging firmware, reviewing schematics, working with simulation tools, and collaborating with senior engineers on prototyping and validation. You will document designs, support integration with cloud and telemetry infrastructure, and participate in code reviews and technical discussions. This is a remote internship role.
