About the Role

We are looking for a Lead Embedded Software & Controls Engineer to drive the development of control systems and embedded software powering next-gen autonomous robots. This is a founding team role, offering the opportunity to build and scale cutting-edge robotics systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead design of control system architecture for robotic platforms
• Develop advanced control algorithms (force control, navigation, manipulation, teleoperation)
• Ensure real-time performance & reliability of control loops
• Work on actuator & sensor integration (IMU, vision, depth sensors)
• Develop embedded firmware, drivers & Linux-based systems
• Own embedded compute platform (Jetson, Linux, monitoring, OTA updates)
• Drive prototyping, testing, debugging & system optimization
• Collaborate across ROS2, perception, hardware & mechanical teams

Key Requirements

• 8+ years in Embedded Systems / Robotics / Controls Engineering
• Strong expertise in Embedded C (C++ is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with RTOS, Embedded Linux & driver development
• Deep knowledge of Control Systems, Robotics (kinematics & dynamics)
• Experience with sensor integration & communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet)
• Strong exposure to ROS / ROS2 & real-time systems
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NVIDIA Jetson platforms
• Exposure to low-level kernel development
• Experience with teleoperation frameworks & system monitoring tools
