Looking for an Embedded Software Architect to define and drive scalable, high-quality embedded software architecture. This role requires strong expertise in C/C++ and embedded systems, with working knowledge of connectivity technologies to support connected product development.
Tasks / Responsibilities:
. Translate business and system requirements into technical architecture.
. Define end-to-end embedded software architecture (drivers, middleware, application layers).
. Design scalable solutions across MCU/SoC platforms, RTOS, and hardware abstraction layers.
. Define communication interfaces and integration strategies across subsystems.
. Architect systems for high performance, low latency, and efficient resource usage.
. Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and quality requirements.
. Design and support integration of connectivity modules (RF, Wi Fi) into embedded systems.
. Assess emerging technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, data platforms) with a focus on improving embedded platform engineering and automation.
. Lead technical discussions and architecture / design reviews.
. Drive innovative initiatives and proof-of-concepts (POCs).
. Evaluate emerging tools, frameworks, and connectivity solutions.
. Establish and improve CI/CD pipelines for embedded systems.
. Mentor development teams on architecture, best practices, and technical direction.
. Support teams in debugging complex system-level issues and root cause analysis.
Required Skills & Experience:
. Strong expertise in Embedded C/C++ development.
. Proven experience in embedded software architecture and system design.
. Experience with modular architecture, and reusable frameworks.
. Hands-on experience with RTOS, drivers, BSP, and low-level system development.
. Ability to analyze tradeoffs between performance, memory, power, and cost.
. Knowledge in secure boot, OTA updates, and cybersecurity concepts.
. Strong analytical thinking and system-level problem-solving capability.
. Good communication, technical mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
. Familiarity with automation frameworks and DevOps practices in embedded systems.
. Curiosity toward industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in software development.
Must Have:
. Expert-level knowledge and practical experience in RF systems.
Good to Have:
. ISAQB Certification, Knowledge in Embedded Linux
