Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and maintain Android framework components related to sensors.
- Work extensively with C and C++ to implement low-level system functionalities.
- Integrate and troubleshoot sensor drivers, HAL layers, and sensor fusion algorithms.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and system teams to support new sensor features.
- Optimize Android build system configurations and debug build issues.
- Conduct performance analysis, tune sensor responsiveness, accuracy, and power management.
- Work on validation and debugging across accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, proximity/light sensors, and activity recognition modules.
- Provide root cause analysis and implement robust fixes for framework- and kernel-level issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong programming skills in C and C++.
- Hands-on experience with Android build systems (AOSP, Soong, Makefiles).
- Solid understanding of Android framework, Sensor HAL, and Always-On DSP.
- Experience working with sensor technologies such as accelerometer, gyroscope, magnetometer, barometer, ALS/Proximity, etc.
- Knowledge of sensor fusion (6-axis/9-axis) and context detection.
- Familiarity with debugging tools: ADB, logcat, Perf, GDB, systrace.
- Ability to work closely with cross-functional hardware and software teams.
