Job Description

Role: Embedded Hardware Engineer

Industry Type: Defense and Aerospace

Employment Type: Full Time, Permanent

Location: Bengaluru

Work Experience: 2-6 years

Offered CTC: 3 - 10 LPA

We are building next-generation embedded systems across IoT, robotics, and intelligent hardware platforms and were looking for engineers who enjoy hands-on debugging, system-level thinking, and real product development.

If you like working across digital + analog hardware, power systems, and embedded firmware, this role is for you.

Our Work

Our products include Defense and Aerospace applications, including Small Satellite Subsystems, Electronic Warfare systems, and Advanced IoT modules.

What Youll Work On

  • Real-world embedded products (IoT devices, robotics systems, smart electronics)
  • Digital + Analog hardware validation, including power subsystems
  • End-to-end system testing from board bring-up to field validation
  • Multi-domain exposure: sensors, communication interfaces, control systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing of embedded hardware and firmware
  • Debug issues across digital, analog, and power circuits
  • Support PCB bring-up, board validation, and troubleshooting
  • Validate power supplies, regulators, battery systems, and load conditions
  • Work with lab instruments such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, and logic analyzers
  • Test and validate sensor interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, ADCs, etc.)
  • Assist in robotics and IoT system validation, including actuators and control loops
  • Provide technical support and issue resolution for deployed systems

Core Requirements

  • Strong fundamentals in electronics (digital + analog) and embedded systems
  • Hands-on experience in hardware and firmware testing/debugging
  • Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and hardware design documents
  • Experience with embedded interfaces (I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO, ADC/DAC)
  • Familiarity with lab instruments (DSO, multimeter, logic analyzer, power supply)
  • Good problem-solving and debugging skills

High-Value / Differentiating Skills

  • Experience with power electronics basics (DC-DC converters, LDOs, battery systems)
  • Exposure to IoT systems, sensor integration, and edge devices
  • Experience working with robotics systems (motors, drivers, control systems)
  • Familiarity with firmware debugging tools (JTAG/SWD, logs, RTOS debugging)
  • Basic exposure to RF/wireless systems(BLE, Wi-Fi, LoRa, etc.)
  • Understanding of signal integrity, grounding, and hardware reliability

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Work across digital + analog + power + firmware (true embedded engineering)
  • Exposure to IoT and robotics systems
  • Strong focus on hands-on debugging and real hardware
  • Opportunity to build end-to-end product understanding
  • Fast skill growth across multiple embedded domains
