Embedded Hardware Engineer

Roles and responsibilities:       

·      Assist in hardware design and development of embedded systems

·      Design and review schematics and PCB layouts

·      Work with microcontrollers (MCUs), SoCs, and peripheral interfaces

·      Perform board bring-up, debugging, and validation testing

·      Support prototype development and testing

·      Conduct hardware troubleshooting and root cause analysis

·      Collaborate with firmware and mechanical teams for system integration

·      Prepare design documentation, test reports, and BOMs

Support compliance with EMI/EMC and safety standards

Essential Skills:

Good Knowledge of Embedded Hardware design and development

Automotive Standards & Protocols like CAN, LIN

Good Knowledge on Environmental & Reliability Testing

Software & Tools Proficiency

Understanding of:

·      Analog & Digital Electronics

·      Circuit Design & Analysis

Experience with:

·      Schematic tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, KiCad)

·      PCB design basics (layer stack-up, routing, grounding)

Knowledge of:

·      Microcontrollers (ARM, PIC, AVR, etc.)

·      Communication protocols: UART, SPI, I2C, CAN

Desirable Skills: Design documents, Knowledge on GIT, Embedded C, Experience in Automotive sector, Medical devices

Minimum Academic Qualification: BE/BTech In Electronics Engineering
